My final DVC project, The Languages Around Us is a collection of explorations around type and language that ultimately took the form of virtual, multilingual typographic installations. It is an attempt at imagining augmented spaces where typography symbolises diversity and encourages intercultural exchanges. Entirely developed for augmented reality, its content is primarily directed towards new international students of the London College of Communication. The ultimate goal is for the installations to create a more welcoming experience for people who are far from their homes.
